About the Film

“NINO” is the story of a young girl whose faith and courage would make her an equal of the Holy Apostles. In a vision, the Holy Virgin Mary foretells NINO’s destiny as the one chose to win the Kingdom of Iberia for Christ. With a strong will, faith and determination, young NINO embarks on a harrowing journey that will challenge her faith and save a nation. Traveling through the outer reaches of the Roman Empire, NINO endures pain and lives in constant peril from the foes of Christendom – of the visible world and the world unseen. Evading her enemies, she reaches her destiny, to challenge the darkness of pagan tyranny, and bring back the light of Christianity to the ancient kingdom.
