Yelena Popovic, started her career as a model, working with world famous fashion de-signers and leading industry photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Marco Glaviano and Helmut Newton. She evolved into an experienced actress, writer, director and producer. Known for Cast Away (2000), she has also written and developed several projects including Passport, Greta Garbo, Man of God; and she has written and directed the 2013 NYIIFVF Audience Award Winner, L.A. Superheroes (2000).
She studied at Playhouse West, an industry recognized premier acting school and training ground for actors, writers and directors, founded by Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum. Popovic is wellknown as a talented creative visionary by many leading Hollywood personalities.
